First Fridays on the Square

(1)  I agree to be part of this collaborative event and to conduct myself as part of the team;

(2)  I understand I will not be allowed to enter the gates without a ticket showing proof of purchase of a vendor space for that unique event;

(3)  I will follow the event timeline as provided by Heart of Scottsville Inc;

(4)  I will remain on the square until the event closes (even if I sell out);

(5)  I will actively promote collaboration and demonstrate support for my fellow vendors; 

(6)  To show my support, I agree to spend a minimum of $10 with another small business during the event;

(7)  I will show kindness to every vendor, volunteer, and guest present;

(8)  I will respectfully comply with all instructions given and requests made by City employees and Heart volunteers, understanding they are there to ensure the success and safety of all attending; 

(9)  I will accept the vendor space assigned to me with the understanding that decisions are made in the best interest of the team and may not necessarily reflect my own personal preference;

(10)  I will be considerate and efficient during setup, unpacking all items and removing my vehicle(s) within 10 minutes of arrival, completing setup of my booth only after my vehicle(s) is/are removed;

(11)  I will park my vehicle(s) in one of the public parking lots located one block off the square;

(12)  I will bring any necessary lighting, equipment and/or extension cords necessary for my work;

(13)  I will do my part to make First Fridays an inclusive, family-friendly, and successful event for all; and

(14)  I understand if I violate any of the terms of this CODE OF CONDUCT, I forfeit my position on this team and may not be permitted to participate in this or any future event hosted by Heart of Scottsville Inc.
